An orthodox priest was attacked by a 17-year-old male in North-Carolina. The young boy punched the priest in the face and then overran him with his car after the priest left the St. Nektarios church on Friday night. Seattle Times reports.
The priest was seriously injured. He has a broken arm and some injuries on his back, but a surgery is not necessary. The police of Charlotte-Mecklenburg reported, that the priest was searching for his cellphone. The 17-year-old male was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, felony hit-and-run and simple assault on Saturday. (ar)
